Testing of DC charging stations in compliance with calibration law up to 1000 A and 1500 V
The MTS780e source and test system uses the Reference Meter of the new s2 series (MT310s2), which, together with a high-precision DC transducer, forms a measuring unit capable of measuring DC currents of up to 1000 A. The reference meter serves not only as a reference device but also as an “error calculator”, i.e. it also determines the measurement deviation of the DUT. An additional current amplifier serves for generation of the test values in the return connector. The system is extendable for additional test positions. A necessary DUT connection can be supplied on request. The MTS780e is suitable for DC charging stations and High-Power-Charger (HPC).

This test and source system can be used by manufacturers for charging stations for electric vehicles for stationary testing of DC charging stations, for example, at the end of the production process for quality control.
