Managing directors Rainer Otto and Horst Wächter informed the employees a few days ago. “We were faced with the decision of investing yet again in the old building or looking for a new location,” explained Wächter. “Our logistical requirements are outgrowing the premises,” said Otto.
The deciding factor was that an investor had been found for the old building. This investor will also build the new company premises in Krahfeld.
Building work is planned to start in 2017. Move will happen by the middle to end of 2018. New apartments are likely to be built in the former ZERA buildings.
In future, at the 9600 square metre site in Oberpleis, there will be about 4000 square metres of floor space available for offices and production.
