Last week, the head of the Ronald McDonald House St. Augustin visited us. The occasion for this visit was a fundraiser we held for the benefit of the McDonald’s Kinderhilfe (foundation for children’s aid) at our Open House. We are pleased to have been able to present Sabine Dawabi with a donation of 500 euros for her projects.
The foundation supports families of seriously ill children in St. Augustin – a place in the surroundings of our location. The house accommodates the parents and siblings of children and young people who are being treated in the nearby children’s hospital. Often these families experience a time there with many ups and downs. This house helps to support them during these moments.
