The testing of DC meters is becoming increasingly important due to the expansion of the charging infrastructure for e-vehicles. High-power Chargers (HPC), so-called (ultra)fast charging stations, use direct current (DC) because this allows a much higher power to be delivered to the electric vehicle. Here, e-cars can charge up to 100 kilometers of new range within five minutes – an absolute advantage for the acceptance of electric mobility. Both consumers and operators or manufacturers of charging stations are interested in the fast and convenient charging process as well as in transparency in billing. Our stationary DC test systems are a valuable contribution to this success.
